Day 2: Explore the Cape Peninsula and Lunch in Kalk Bay
Begin your journey from the hotel to the fishing community of Hout Bay on one of the world’s most iconic drives. Later in the afternoon, when we return to the other side of the Peninsula for lunch, we’ll wind our way along Chapman’s Peak, passing through beautiful Kalk Bay. Visit the magnificent Cape Point Nature Reserve, one of the world’s most pristine wilderness areas Stroll the trails in search of reebok, Cape Mountain zebra, bontebok, and the elusive eland. Explore Boulders Beach and learn about the locals, an African penguin colony. You are cordially welcomed to a delectable lunch with wine at the Harbour House restaurant in Kalk Bay.

Day 4: Explore Cape Winelands
The rich wine valleys of the Cape are a storehouse of rustic beauty and expansive estates covered by gigantic oak trees, and are world famous for crisp white and French-style red wines. Travel into the heart of the Winelands, beginning in ancient Paarl and Stellenbosch and continuing on to the lovely town of Franschoek, founded in 1688 by French refugees fleeing Huguenot religious persecution in Europe. These very settlers created the superb wines that Napoleon, Bismarck, and nobility such as Edward VII, the Prince of Wales longed after. Begin at the Vergelegen Estate, where you may see the Cape Dutch architecture of the manor house.
Choose between a wine tasting given by the estate’s winemaker and a walk around the grounds. Alternatively, rent a bike and go on a guided tour of one of the surrounding wineries. Day 6: Cape Town- Skukuza Airport- Kruger National Park.
Take flight from Cape Town to Skukuza Airport, which is located in the midst of the African bushveld. Kruger National Park is one of the world’s largest wildlife reserves, covering more than 2 million hectares. After a short drive through Big Five country, arrive at the luxury Lion Sands Lodge on the banks of the Sabie River for lunch with wine. Enjoy your first evening game drive, led by a professionally trained ranger and tracker. Drive through the Lion Sands Game Reserve in your private open-air safari vehicle, which is part of an environment with the highest concentration of wild animal species in the Southern Hemisphere.
As your ranger gives intriguing insights into the lives of little and huge species, you may observe a pride of lions wandering over the savanna or learn about the intricacy of a termite colony. Stop on way for a gin-and-tonic and munchies in the middle of Africa’s Bushveld. Day 7: Big Five Game Viewing Safari.
Rise with the sun, grab a cup of freshly prepared coffee, and head out on your morning game drive. In quest of the Big Five, marvel at your tracker’s abilities as he analyses animal faeces and reads the bush like a book. Keep a watch out for leopards as you pass rocky outcrops and listen for elephants eating on mopane leaves. At watering holes, search for crocodiles and hippopotamus, as well as the numerous exotic bird species prevalent in the region. Return to your lodge in time for a beautiful breakfast buffet with a view of the river. Before you relax during the afternoon, savour your meal.
