Day 1-3: Pickup and Transfer to Matobo National Park & Game Drives
You will be picked up in Bulawayo and sent to Matopos for your three-night stay at Amalinda. Guests may enjoy a genuinely one-of-a-kind dining experience under the great African sky, with views of the countryside rich in indigenous animals and flora and serenaded by the sounds of the wild. There’s nothing like the African bush to whet your appetite. There are few sites where you may lie beneath a canopy of rocks that emit an almost palpable energy.
The Matobo Hills have a mysterious mysticism that soothes, nourishes, and rejuvenates the soul. Allow us to heighten your sense of well-being at Amalinda Lodge’s Safari Spa. Every day, there are two activities: a bicycle ride, cultural and village excursions, walks/hikes surrounding the lodge, a visit to the world-famous Tomb of Cecil John Rhodes, or rhino tracking by car or on foot.
Day 4-6: Wildlife Viewing in Hwange National Park
After your morning activity and breakfast, you will be driven to Hwange National Park for your three-night stay at Ivory Safari Lodge. Guided game walks a Dete cultural tour, pan sits, and guided game drives are among the activities available. Ivory Lodge, located on the borders of Hwange National Park, provides family-friendly safari experiences and is well-known for its thrilling up-close encounters of the Presidential Elephant Herd.
The Lodge has a main thatched dining and lounge area that overlooks a guest swimming pool and a drinking hole frequented by elephants, predators, and a variety of plains game species. The rooms are tastefully built on stilted wooden platforms that provide high views of the wide floodplain and watering hole in front of camp.
Day 7: Airport Transfer and Departure.
Today you will board a charter jet to Victoria Falls Airport to conclude your fantastic 6-night stay.
