Detailed Itinerary for 5 Days Zimbabwe, Botswana & South Africa.
Day 1: Transfer to Victoria Falls and Sunset Cruise on Zambezi River.
Arrive at Victoria Falls Airport, meet and welcome our guide, and transport to your accommodation in the heart of Victoria Falls town, only a short walk from the Victoria Falls rainforest. Register at your hotel.
Later, take a sunset boat along the Zambezi River, where you can see animals on the river’s banks as well as beautiful birds. You will appreciate the BOMA – African welcome boma dinner and traditional entertainment from a local dance troupe. Dinner and overnight at Azambezi River Lodge.
Day 2: Hike to Victoria Falls and Transfer to Chobe National Park.
After breakfast, you will spend time in the rainforest of Victoria Falls on a two-hour guided tour of the falls. Later, you’ll leave Victoria Falls and go across the Kazangula Border into Botswana, where you’ll stay at the Chobe Safari Lodge. This will be your temporary residence for the next two nights. The remainder of the afternoon is free. After lunch, you will go on a sunset safari boat ride on Chobe River in the park.
Return to the hotel in time for a buffet supper. Dinner and Overnight at Chobe Bush Lodge.
Day 3: Game Drive in Chobe and Afternoon Boat Safari
Begin the day with an early morning wildlife drive around Chobe National Park, followed by breakfast and free time. Later in the afternoon, board a river game cruise and spend the remainder of the afternoon cruising on the Chobe River till sunset. The animal and bird life is simply beautiful, and it is an experience you will never forget. Dinner and overnight at Chobe Bush Lodge.
Day 4: Wildlife Viewing and Fly to Johannesburg
Explore Cobe’s wildlife on a morning game drive, where you may see elephants swimming across the river and a great range of roughly 75 animals, 450 bird species, including lions, spring hares, and baboons. Have lunch and transfer to Kasane or Victoria Falls Airport where you will board your connecting flight to Johannesburg. Dinner and overnight at Sandton Six Hotel.
Day 5: Explore Soweto Town and Departure.
Have breakfast early in the morning from your hotel and meet up with your guide. Start your day with a tour of Soweto town in Johannesburg, South Africa. You can visit interesting places in Soweto such as Nelson Mandela House, Hector Pieterson Museum, and the Apartheid Museum among others. You can also have lunch at one of the resturants in Johannesburg or head back to your hotel for lunch and later transfer to the airport where you will board your flight back home. End of Tour.
