This premium safari location is one of 18 unfenced private game reserves that comprise the Greater Kruger National Park, and it shares a 50-kilometer unfenced boundary with the renowned Kruger National Park. The area is well-known for its exceptional biodiversity and spectacular Big 5 animal and bird sightings.

The eco-friendly camp provides visitors with a real safari experience in beautiful Bushveld settings, with convenient access to Sabi Sands, Kruger National Park, and Hoedspruit. Tydon Eco Camp is rustic and lovely, with traditional safari tents fully furnished for comfort and convenience.
Tydon Eco Camp uses gas and solar electricity to power its facilities, allowing it to live “off the grid” and have the least influence on the environment. Evenings are spent dining beneath the stars over a raging fire at an outdoor boma, which is wonderfully calm and serene.

Day 1: Johannesburg to Greater Kruger National Park
Pick up at a specified airport in Johannesburg City, South Africa. The journey from Johannesburg to the Greater Kruger National Park in Mpumalanga Province takes around 6 hours and takes you through the beautiful Lowveld region, along the escarpment, and into the wide-open landscapes of the Highveld. Along the route, stop for food and refreshments.
Arrive to Tydon Eco Camp around midday. Freshen yourself and unwind before departing on a late-afternoon wildlife drive in the Greater Kruger Park. Enjoy sun downers from a unique vantage point, followed by a nocturnal drive back to your safari lodge.
Tydon Eco Camp is where you’ll spend the night. At the outdoor boma, guests eat under the stars.

Day 2-4: Greater Kruger – Kruger National Park.
Get up early (5:30-6:30) for hot drinks and rusks before heading out for a 3-hour dawn game drive in Kruger National Park. Return to your lodge for lunch, and then spend the rest of the day resting in the safari camp until it’s time to go for a 3-hour twilight game drive in Kruger Park.

Day 5: Greater Kruger- Johannesburg.
Following a leisurely breakfast, we embark for our return travel to Johannesburg. If necessary, guests will be transported to Skukuza or Nelspruit airports. The Panorama Route leads you back to Johannesburg via the historic villages of Graskop and Sabie.
Return to Johannesburg in the late afternoon and drop off at OR Tambo International Airport. Before booking a connecting local or international flight, please confirm the exact dates with your trusted travel agent.
