Detailed Itinerary for 3 Days Chobe National Park Safari.

Day 1: Pick from Kasane and Transfer to Chobe National Park.

Greetings from Botswana! Due to the fact that there are no activities planned for today, you are free to arrive at any moment. There is an extra charge for transfers from Kasane Airport, or from the airport in Victoria Falls or from Victoria Falls hotels. In order to take advantage of an optional excursion to the picturesque savannah near Kasane, we recommend arriving around 2pm.

Having a drink while watching the occasional animal stroll by is a great way to spend an afternoon before the rest of the party arrives. Dine at your lodge’s restaurant, so that you may meet other visitors staying at the lodge and share your experiences and sightings from the day’s activities with them.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Ride-Chobe National Park.

Keep your eyes and ears peeled for roaring lions, trumpeting elephants, and many other spectacular creatures as you explore Chobe National Park today. When it’s time to relax, take a morning game drive to observe the animals at their most active. A boat ride to the Chobe River waits once the sun has cooled off. Animals will likely be cooling down along the banks, playing and drinking in these less harsh circumstances. As the epitome of big game country, Chobe National Park is a must-see.

It is not uncommon to observe large herds of buffalo and elephant wandering the savannah, as well as several lion prides. The park is home to an estimated 70,000 Kalahari elephants, the biggest known subspecies of elephants in the world, according to experts. Besides zebra, impala, wildebeest, giraffe, lions, leopards, and hyenas, there are also warthogs, impala, baboons and monkeys can be found in the region.

In addition to the saddle-billed storks and malachite kingfishers that may be observed along the river, there are also fish eagles, goliath heron and magnificent bee-eaters. Elephants and hippopotamuses regularly converge in the river to play and drink. Some of the riverbanks include crocodiles, yet these ferocious creatures are surprisingly timid. Your last night together will be spent at the lodge, reflecting about the day that was. Enjoy a drink and talk about the creatures you just saw on this wonderful day.

Day 3: Optional Game Drive and Transfer back to Kasane.

Choose between a relaxing breakfast at the lodge or a game drive to see more wildlife. Upon your return, your hot breakfast will be waiting for you. As a result, your journey comes to a formal close. Kasane offers additional lodging that may be pre-booked at an extra fee. Drop at the airport where you will board your return flight back home. End of Safari.
