Detailed Itinerary 12 Days Kenya and Tanzania Combined Safari.

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Our office staff will meet you at the airport upon your arrival. Afterwards, you will be taken to the Hilton Nairobi hotel for an overnight stay and preparation for your safari the following day. This is a good choice for people who arrive in Nairobi late at night.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park.

Leave after breakfast and head to Lake Nakuru National Park in Kenya’s arid north. Arrive at Lake Nakuru Lodge in time for lunch. After lunch, go on a game drive in the park in the late afternoon. Late at night, you arrive back to your lodge. Staying the night at the Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast at Lake Nakuru, proceed to Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch. The drive crosses some of the most scenic views of Great Rift Valley. The afternoon game drive will run until sunset. You will later return back to the Zebra Plains Mara camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Masai Mara Game Reserve.

Afternoon and morning game drives in the Masai Mara make up a full day in the park Masai tribesmen may be visited on an optional excursion to their houses and see Masai culture first-hand in the dispersion region of the game reserve. Everything you need to know about the Zebra Plains Mara Camp.

Day 5: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Spend the day on game drive. On this day you will visit the Mara River for hippo and crocodile viewing. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.

Day 6: Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park.

On our way to the Serengeti, we pack up and depart the Masai Mara with a picnic lunch. In Isebania and Serari, you’ll cross the Kenya-Tanzania border, and then continue on to Serengeti National Park via Ndabaka. Serengeti is a Masai word that means “endless plains.” Near Kenya and Tanzania’s border, it is located on a high plateau between the Ngorongoro Mountains and a high plateau. If time permits, we’ll go on a wildebeest migration tour. Safari camp with dinner and an overnight stay at Serengeti Heritage deluxe tented camp.

Day 7: Serengeti Game Reserve.

If you spend an extra day in the Serengeti, you’ll be able to see and photograph more wildlife, and you’ll be able to appreciate every second of your Serengeti safari. The Serengeti is home to the world’s greatest concentration of plains wildlife. Overnight and dinner at Serengeti vintage deluxe tented camp.

Day 8: Transfer to Ngorongoro crater

Breakfast at 6:00 am, and then travel for Ngorongoro National Park with picnic lunches. The half-day crater tour begins with a descent into the crater bottom. One route goes down, one goes up, and one goes both ways. In terms of size, the crater is about 20 km wide and 600 m deep, and it takes about 45 minutes to descend to the crater floor once you reach the caldera’s rim. The floor provides a haven for a wide variety of animals. It is home to around 20,000 large animals, including roughly 20 black rhinoceros, making it the finest site in Tanzania to observe the rhinoceros in its natural habitat.”

The crater bottom is also home to one of the world’s greatest concentrations of carnivores. In addition to the usual suspects of lions, hyenas, and jackals, leopards can also be spotted with a little luck. This means you’ll spend most of your time in the crater. Day 9: Ngorongoro to Tarangire.

In the morning, depart for Tarangire. Tarangire Game Drive in the afternoon after lunch. In terms of size, Tarangire National Park is the sixth biggest park in Tanzania, with a total area of 2850 square kilometres. It is also home to the most species outside of the Serengeti. When you visit Tarangire, you will be able to see enormous herds of elephants up close and personal. Besides wildebeests and lions and leopards, Tarangire is home to zebras, buffalo, gazelles, rhinoceros, warthogs, impala, pythons, lions, and more than 50 kinds of birds. Dinner and overnight at Maramboi Tented Lodge.

Day 10: Tarangire-Arusha-Amboseli.

As soon as you wake up, head to Amboseli National Park. We pass through the town of Arusha on the way. We next head to the border town of Namanga for lunch. Kibo Safari Camp or Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge is where we stay after completing immigration requirements. We’ll take you on a game drive in the afternoon with dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp/ Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 11: Amboseli National Park.

Safari at Amboseli National Park in the morning to see the animals in their natural habitat. A clear day will reveal Kilimanjaro and its shimmering snow-capped summits, leaving you captivated by their grandeur. Have breakfast and later in the afternoon head back out for guided game drives in the park. Dinner and overnight same as above.

Day 12: Transfer Back to Nairobi.

Before breakfast, we took a game drive to see what was around. In the Amboseli National Park, there is one last game drive. Amboseli departs early in the morning for Nairobi, where it will reach late afternoon. Take a taxi to your hotel/residence/airport in Nairobi, and then catch your trip back to home. End of Tour.
