Day 1-3: Explore the Okavango Delta.

Xugana Island Lodge is located on a private concession and takes full use of this spectacular location. An wide terrace and al fresco eating area overlook the huge, pristine body of water known as the Okavango Delta.

The open-sided thatched buildings that house the lounge, bar, and dining spaces are set back under the shade of ebony and African mangosteen trees. The swimming pool, nestled in the mature gardens in the island’s centre, is an ideal location to unwind.

Only sixteen guests are accommodated in the lodge’s spacious, elevated, reed and thatch lagoon-facing cabins. It features en-suite bathrooms and private observation terraces strategically positioned on the island’s shady rim.

The resort is located in a private concession and offers a variety of activities, allowing you to enjoy a genuine Okavango Delta safari. Day 4-6: Experience the Moremi Game Reserve.

Camp Xakanaxa is located in the centre of the Moremi Game Reserve, on the banks of the Khwai River on the Xakanaxa Lagoon. As a result, it is one of the few safari lodges that provides visitors with a true year-round Okavango Delta land and water safari experience.

The surrounding old riverine woods, open grasslands, serpentine channels, and seasonal floodplains provide a diverse environment for excellent wildlife and plants. The camp is one of only a handful that offers year-round land and water game watching in open 4×4 safari vehicles or powerboats.
