Zanzibar, Rock restaurant and cave tour visit

Overview

The most interesting tour experience in Zanzibar is visiting the most well-known cave. After that, you’ll head to the rock restaurant to have your meal of choice, and the tour will eventually come to an end.

What to except?

When we get to Zanzibar, the first place we’re going to is Rock, which is widely regarded as the island’s best restaurant. You can unwind and snap some gorgeous photos to impress your pals back home. You will then proceed to the Kuza Cave. You will have the opportunity to look through a few artefacts that were found inside the cave and a timeline of significant Swahili historical events at the start of the tour. Explore the beginning of human history and learn about the emergence of our species in East Africa. After that, you’ll come to an old limestone cave that contains a pool of pure mineral water. You’ll find the water to be rather soothing once you’ve gotten used to its temperature. You will be taught how to cook once you cool off in the cave’s pool.

On the first day, you will be picked up by your safari guide from your lodge and taken to Kuza Cave, one of Zanzibar’s best-kept secrets. Kuza Cave is an ancient limestone jungle cave that has freshwater that is crystal clear and turquoise. Why not purchase the package deal and spend the day there? You won’t want to leave.

After visiting the cave you will be transferred to the Rock, founded in 2011 by Andrea Brunetti, Claudio Moras, and Nigel Firman, has become an iconic destination known for its beautiful setting, mouthwatering cuisine, and Italian hospitality. Based on the principles of friendship and family, The Rock aims to provide a great dining experience while contributing positively to the neighborhood and environment.

There is easy access to the large light-filled circular cave and a reception area with a restaurant and large shaded area where you can buy food and drinks. The region surrounding the cave is a serene natural preserve home to a variety of animals, such as bush babies, chindi, vibrant butterflies, and red colobus monkeys.

Stopping at a famous Zanzibar eatery will warm you up and provide you with great photo ops. After that, you’ll enter a cave in the center of the jungle that features a 50-meter-deep sinkhole.
