Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Serengeti National Park.
Your Adyeri Travel Limited guide will greet you at Mt. Kilimanjaro Airport on the first day of your four-day Serengeti and Ngorongoro camping Safari and give you a brief overview of the trip. After that, you’ll be taken to the Serengeti National Park, where you’ll check into your lodge and unwind. Later on, lunch will be served to you at your lodge. Your safaris guide will take you on an afternoon game drive in one of the park’s sectors after lunch. Of all the national parks in East Africa, the Serengeti boasts the most diverse environment, and as you wander the plains, you’ll come across a wide variety of species. Before nightfall, you will be taken back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Spend the night at the lodge of your choice.
Day 2: Serengeti National Park-Ngorongoro.
On the second day of your four-day Tanzania camping safari, you will head out for an early game drive after breakfast. When it comes to seeing predators like lions and hyenas, these early game drives are the most effective. This time of day is significantly cooler, and the cats are out looking for food in particular. This time of day is when you are most likely to come across a “kill,” thus it is highly probable that you will.
You will then start your journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, East of Serengeti. Depending of the timing, lunch will be either at the Crater or on the way there. After lunch, you will continue with the journey to the Crater; arriving at your accommodation for evening relaxation.
Overnight at the preferred accommodation facility.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Area.
On the third day of your 4-days of your safari, you will go on a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater itself after an early breakfast. In addition to being home to a plethora of game species, the crater is highly distinctive because it is also the Maasai People’s home. In order to coexist with the wildlife, they established homesteads here. It is Tanzania’s sole protected region where people and wildlife coexist. You’ll enjoy lunch on the Crater floor on a picnic, where you’ll see lots of animals wandering around. You’ll go on for an afternoon game drive after the lunch break. A unique viewpoint of the crater and the surrounding fauna is offered by the ability to ride donkeys along a route that runs along the rim of the crater. You will head back to your resort for dinner and an overnight stay before dusk falls.
Overnight at the preferred accommodation facility.
Day 4: Depart for Mount Kilimanjaro Airport.
On the final day of your four-day Tanzania safari, you will drive to the Mt. Kilimanjaro Airport to catch your return flight after breakfast. You’ll be able to see Masai artists making their handicrafts and go through several towns and sections of the Serengeti during the journey. You will eat lunch on the way as you go through the local communities. Your guide will take you to a local Tanzanian restaurant so you can taste the local dishes.
End of the safari.
