Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and pick up from the airport.
On the first day of the safari. On your arrival in Arusha, you will be picked up from the airport by your safari drive and after a short safari briefing you will be driven to your hotel in Arusha. Rest, have dinner and stay overnight as you prepare for the next day’s daring experience.
Day 2: transfer to Tarangire national park.
After breakfast at your hotel in the morning, our safari driver will come to pick you up. After a quick safari briefing, you will drive to Tarangire National Park, which is well-known for being home to sizable herds of elephants. On your way to Tarangire national park you will see the gently rolling Maasai plain with scattered acacia trees, the Maasai local people in their colorful dressing attires, herds of cattle and driving donkey carts.
After arriving at Tarangire National Park, you will check into your lodge, eat lunch and then go on an afternoon game drive where you can see a variety of species, including lions, buffalo, zebras and wildebeests. Immediately after afternoon game drive you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Ngorongoro crater and have an afternoon game drive.
After morning breakfast at your lodge, you will check out and with en-route game drive you will checkout of Tarangire national park heading to Ngorongoro crater /Ngorongoro conservation area. With its width of about 20 km and depth of roughly 610 metres, Ngorongoro Crater is the largest volcanic caldera in the world. Home to numerous wildlife species, including the big five and 500 bird species, the crater is a natural wonder.
Upon arrival, you will have lunch, settle into your lodge and then go on an afternoon game drive to see a variety of creatures, including gazelles, wildebeests, lions, buffalo, elephants, rhinos, cheetahs and reedbucks, among many more. You will witness breathtaking crater views on your game drive. After the experience, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Departure.
On the final day of the safari. After morning breakfast at your lodge you will check out and descend to the crater for the last game drive of this experience exploring other parts of the crater you were unable to explore before. After your experience, you will leave the park and go back to Arusha. Lunch will be provided for you on the way, and once you get there, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport in time for your departure flight.
