This safari is ideal for individuals seeking to quickly experience the splendour of nature, featuring a crater full of animals and a variety of terrains.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park.
On the first day of the safari, your safari guide from Adyeri Travel Limited will welcome you for the safari after picking you from either your hotel or the airport, and brief you about the safari. After a briefing, you’ll head to Lake Manyara National Park to start your experience. Located along the 600 m high Rift Valley Escarpment, this park offers the alkaline Lake Manyara. Here, the lake takes on a sparkling pink hue due to the large quantity of flamingos. With more than 400 different bird species, the park features a variety of habitats for antelopes, elephants, giraffes, and monkeys. If you’re lucky, you might be able to see the Manyara lions as they climb trees. After the day experience you will be taken back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park.
After a delectable breakfast, depart for the lush crater highlands that are the agricultural fields of the Iraqi people. Traverse past the Ngorongoro Crater, arriving at the iconic Serengeti National Park by midday after arriving check in lodge and be served with lunch, after lunch you will go for the afternoon game drive. Tanzania’s largest park, the Serengeti, offers a diverse range of environments, including short grass plains, savannahs, thickets, swamps, and lakes. See the fascinating Kopjes rock formations and perhaps the well-known animal migration, which is impacted by the seasonal rainfall. After the gam drive you will go to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Get up early in the morning, for an excellent opportunity for morning game drive, with a game drive in the Seronera region of the Serengeti. Post breakfast, another game drive offers opportunities to view wildebeests, zebras, lions, leopards, and cheetahs in their natural habitat. Proceed to the Ngorongoro Crater after lunch, stopping at its edge to take in the sight of this 600-meter-deep natural wonder. After the experience you will go back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration to Arusha.
Have an early breakfast before making your way down into the Ngorongoro Crater’s interior. This microcosm of natural beauty, which features expansive savannahs and lush forests, provides an opportunity to see the Big Five. Along with many bird species, you might come across warthogs, wildebeests, zebras, and hippos. After exploring the natural world in the morning and enjoying a picnic lunch, your 4-day Tanzania Lodge Safari comes to an end with a late-afternoon return to Arusha.
